In the exact location he died driving extremely intoxicated, how is this possible in the day and age of intense scrutiny for DWI.
I mean he literally wrecked and died in the exact stretch named after him? WTF?

Bossier City is one of those towns where they glorify cops even when they're pieces of shite, like they are in Bossier City.
I would know, I live there.
I would know, I live there.

Johnny was partying pretty hard with .2 BAC from the blood test

And the state police who sole life in this Troop is to write DWI helped make it happen.
So a citizen gets arrested, put on the news, fined thousands of dollars for DWI, yet a blowhard cop gets the road named after him. Wow!

His BFF, senator Robert Adley strong armed his way through legislation to get this "dedication".
Rob's dumbass also had these comments on the matter:
So if Johnny would have crossed that line, hitting another car and killed them, would it also be about how they lived, and not how they died?
Rob's dumbass also had these comments on the matter:
quote:
This is about how he lived. Not about one night how he might have died. It's that simple
quote:
Johnny might have hurt himself, and only himself with a broken heart, suffering over the loss of his wife was a very personal matter for him and his family, has absolutely nothing to do with how he handled his public affairs, and how he ran the Marshal's office,"
quote:
Ma'am, listen. Coulda woulda shoulda, the man is dead. He died of a broken heart,"
So if Johnny would have crossed that line, hitting another car and killed them, would it also be about how they lived, and not how they died?

I'll be sure to use the broken heart card if I'm ever pulled over.

This should be rescinded, are there any lawmakers who are serious about DWI, or is it just another money grab?

True.
But I will say this about him....he stepped up and was a big leader in going after Pedophiles and Child Molesters.

Wyatt was a corrupt dumb arse.
Jack Binion told my dad and I at dinner one night while the Horseshoe Hotel was being built that Wyatt was the dumbest public official who ever asked him for a bribe!

He spent local citizens' tax money to lure in pervs from Arkansas and Texas, so the local citizens could also pay to put them in prison in Louisiana.
It's the damned city marshal office, not Interpol. Focus on doing your job for the city and not luring molesters to it.
