How realistic is it to make a 75% on the final exam for Karim Kholy?

Well, if you paid any attention and did well on the test then 75 is easily doable.

But since you are here asking, I assume you have copied homework and got C's and D's on the test, and need a 75 to get a C.

Good luck with that, next go around maybe you will put more effort forward and won't need a 75% (which you probably haven't gotten all year) to pass the class.

-Signed someone who copied homework and didn't pay attention in class

You forgot "fail" and "zero fricks given" in your description.

If you're worried about it, then you probably won't make it. The final grades for statics when I took it were pretty close to the average of the 4 regular semester exam. Also, if I remember correctly, a huge truss problem is a big part.

I love threads like this. It reminds me that, as many fond memories of college as I have, I don't miss the school part of it at all.

Same for mine. Could be done quickly or painfully depending on your level of understanding

Considering there are only 3 equations to learn, you'd have to forget one of the three to fall short of your goal. I think you'll be fine.

My statics tests were all about time management. The material isn't hard at all

That's leaving out a lot...

Mixed triple product, cross product, dot product, hydrostatics, method of joints, method of sections, frames....

There's way more than 3 simple equations.

I know when I took that class you had to know how you would solve any problem just by looking at it. If you tried to work it out without being sure you wouldn't finish the exam, and you failed.

Statics was simple...if you did the hw yourself. Did it between classes, probably the only class i ever did that for...you won't need to study for the tests.
