Total eclipse happening in all 3 major cities there with Charleston being the last one in the US. I read hotel rooms are gone everywhere with lots of out of state visitors.

How lucky is SC for getting the eclipse? Other states have to be envious.

South Carolina outbid several other States and two countries in South America for the opportunity to host the eclipse.

Charleston is where a majority of the people went, but it is by far the worst place to view it in the state. The smart ones traveled to Columbia or Greenville.

Nashville is the largest city within a days driving distance for over half the country (165 million people).

Its insane. The flights, hotels, camp grounds, RV lots, etc. are all completely booked.

Half of my friends had work cancelled today for logistical reasons.
