To this day I will not take the risk of reading a book by a female author. I realize that's closed-minded but Jesus - women suck at writing and developing true, honest stories.... at least proportionately. Jane Austen being one notable exception. She's the tits.

I will have to agree with this. His bits (If you want to call them that) is as poor as his douche dress attire, and looks irl.

ETA: Definitely this guy; anonymous guy, is going to have to be fricked up writing, and performing for gawd making him such an ugly looking individual in life...

i had a female coworker that was a local comic here in Houston. I helped her with some jokes one time. When I went to go see her, it was the ones I helped her refine that got the biggest laughs.

That should tell you everything you need to know about chick comics.

Not that I get out much, but I've yet to find a local comedian who's actually funny.

Make sure you write your jokes. Don't go up on stage without having your material worked out and tight. Bounce your ideas off people you know who are funny.

I once posted my picture on the OT. That led to comedy...well I guess it was lay down comedy really.

I always get quite a few laughs when I have a girl at my place and I pull my cock out. I guess you could call it "one night stand up"?

A few locals in Hattiesburg recently started a stand-up scene that's become a pretty decent deal.

That said, see ya on /r cringe.

If you're as funny onstage as you are on here, they'll have you sweeping out the restrooms in no time.

Yeah, I've done it. 5 minute set at an open mic almost 25 years ago. Co-worker of mine dared me to, I said I would if he did too. We gave ourselves a few weeks to prepare. I think my material was decent, but my delivery was a little rough due to nerves. Some of the open mic regulars told me my stuff was good and that the crowd was about the worst they'd seen in a long time (many large groups that were there to socialize rather than shut up and listen to what was happening on stage.) They said I should come back and try again with a different crowd, but I never did.....it was kinda terrifying, but I'm very glad I did it. Quite a rush.

Everyone should try it once.

Yeah I mean if Kevin Hart can get a fricking HBO special I feel like I'm already golden

Kevin Hart (black), Dane Cook (white), and [insert name of any straight female comic] (female) have the diverse array of famous unfunny comics niche pretty well filled at the moment, so unless you're an Hispanic paraplegic you're pretty much going to have to be funny to make it.

I've always said that is the purest form of entertainment. The ability of those people to stand in front of a crowd with nothing more than a microphone and people will pay to hear what they have to say. Amazing.
