No I meant that I thought it was strange that you guys combine your fair and your auction.

Numbers wise; is this helpful?

Aren't the 4th grade parents of those kids supposed to contribute donations?

we do get donations from parents. yes each grade has a theme and each class puts together a package. top 3 goes to real auction and rest are in silent auction on Friday night.

May God have mercy on your soul. I often work the sweet or prize booth at Our Lady of Mercy's fair and it can be a grind.

The STM fair is a shell of its former self. I've noticed Saturday and Sunday attendance way down compared to 90's - early 2000's. Friday night still draws a decent crowd, I suppose.

I agree. I went to that school when the fair would be packed throughout the weekend. Now I have a child at the school and the parents are kinda obligated to volunteer. The fair is meh except for Friday night.

I've never even heard of a three day parish fair. That's pretty astounding. Most are happy to get a good crowd over the course of one day.
