Never stayed there but I love the all inclusive drink and food deal.

We have never done an all inclusive...so I want to be excited bc I can knock back some drinks in a given weekend. ..however food quality is a concern

They have an all inclusive from 7am-5pm for $50 for ppl that aren't staying there. IDK about if you stay there, but I would imagine that it is included. It covers beer and well drinks, but the pina colidas are good and I am usually to drunk to care about the food quality.

If you and your SO are looking for a romantic trip I would suggest staying on the french side, but if yall are looking to party I would suggest the Dutch side.

Take a day trip to Anguilla. Great little island.

St Barths. The ferry ride is called the St Barfs ferry. Be prepared. A lot of people are going to get sick. We had a great lunch at Nikki's Beach in St Jean. Pricy but very good. Pay in Euros. The local conversion to dollars is not in your favor.

I'm not a huge fan of St Maarten. It's a dirty island with junk everywhere and the traffic is horrendous. There are a lot of good restaurants especially on the French side.

Nikki Beach is like $20 coca cola. Not hating--I've always wanted to go

I have always had an affinity for St. Bart's as a whole.

What do you expect when you have 30K residents and 20K tourists on a 37 sq mile island?

I agree with this. TA if you are into golf I would suggest playing on Anguilla and not St. Maarten the course is much better.

I have been deep sea fishing multiple times and never got sick but I puke every time I am on that ferry or on a dive boat off St. Maarten. IDK why but I do. Also TA I would go scuba diving off Saba if you are into that.

ETA: You also have to go to the Platinum Room.

The traffic I could deal with. It happens. The trash everywhere? That's just not being clean or caring. In my opinion.

Yeah Nikki Beach was crazy expensive but an excellent meal. Except for the ferry ride I loved St Barths and Anguilla was divine. We'll go back and stay on Anguilla for sure.

I guess I just got used to it, but its the caribbean and that is just the island mentality.

Yeah. I guess I've gotten used to going to the islands without it which are numerous. It's frustra when you see the potential beauty. We had a villa on the St Barths side near Oyster Pond and it was nicer up there but a little too remote.

I've been to going to St. Barths for the last few years. Here's a list of places you should go:

Le Select in Gustavia (Where Jimmy Buffett was inspired to write Cheeseburger in Paradise)
Do Brazil at Shell Beach (Great Place for a few drinks at Sunset)
Nikki Beach (Expensive but its really cool and amazing view)
La Plague (If you gone Friday night, go there. They have a really cool "I Love Friday" party)
Gouverneur Beach (Secluded beach that is probably the prettiest beach on the island)
Day hike to Columbiier Beach
Rent a boat and beach hop
Le Ti (This place is a must. Great for dinner and late night)

Restaurants:
Bonito
Eden Rock
La Plague
Meat and Potatoes
Le Petite Columbe (Great place for breakfast)

Any other questions, just ask

Neither am I. That's usually where we have our connection flight but last year we had to stay overnight due to our flight being delayed. Riding around the island, there were parts where I felt like I was driving through Panama City or the west side of Birmingham. Not to mention the Americans who typically go there are your typical midwestern American tourist.

We will be on the French side the majority of the time...splitting it up with 3 nights on grand case and 2 on orient beach.

Anguilla just moved way up our list

Shoot me an email. In that part of Caribbean, hotels or resorts arent the best play.

Don't forget mayas and mayas to go to stock up the fridge, Ti St Barth, Lafayette club if still open.

On another subject I would be surprised if we don't have mutual friends or possibly know each other. We have a house a place in PC

I still haven't been to Mayas. From what we heard is it was a smidge overrated for you pay, but that could obviously not be the case.

Where's your place in Point Clear?
