Sports cars with tiny factory wheels
Posted by CatsGoneWild on 10/21/16 at 6:48 pm213
Why do dodge, ford, and chevy put tiny wheels on their sports cars? I know they are the cheaper versions of their sports cars, but it really makes them look like junk. They don't appeal to the eye and it wouldn't make me want to buy one. If they are going to skimp, skimp on something that doesnt ruin the looks. It's not like rims cost a fortune. Make people pay a couple hundred bucks more.

Smaller wheels...less mass to turn, more power used to go forward? Maybe.

I hope they leave the Vettes and Cameros alone. Don't want them to look like they came out the hood

To make you buy the more expensive package. Obviously.

I'm assuming most are probably 19's. Also doesn't matter size of the tire. I had 19VR and those were sick on my G37s

Most cars use 17's on base models.

I'm more put off by the tiny brake disks on American sports cars. Damn corvette puts some little shits back there, looks like garbage. I don't care if it's not needed, put some decent disks back there.
