The video that played automatically was of COA Dumas living in Ascension and violating state law. Is anyone over there not violating the law breaching serious ethics rules?

How do they get permits from EBR with these basic issues?

Does anybody hire a lawyer to do a title search anymore? The financier of the developmenr, The homebuye, the homebuyer's mortgage company, anybody?

The man is a savage. He went and knocked on all the doors of the houses that will likely have to be torn down. None of the homeowners knew about it before Nakamoto let them know.

Now the city/parish (and thus the taxpayers) are going to be at least partially liable for damages when they knock those houses down.

Just look at council members bank accounts around the time the permit was approved.

I'm honestly amazed that you can not only start construction on land that doesn't belong to you.....but actually complete homes and get all certificates of occupancy and permits.

This issue was brought up during the council hearings on the Rouzan dev years ago, the council ignored it as the fraud Spinoza promised a library to get his plan passed. No Library. Now it will likely be the tax payers of EBR will have to buy out those houses and make reprimands to the 2 home owners who have been there since way before this fiasco.

From what I recall, Delgado was representing this district on the metro council during this time of legal battles and assured homeowners & lot owners it was all ok. Geeze

Like I said, a lawyer looking through the cinveyance records would have found this. The more I think about it, I'll bet this was ftraud, not just negligence. Somebody knew about this and got paid to look the other way

Exactly. No fricking way it's just the developer. He should have never been able to even build, much less complete and sell homes on land that he doesn't own.

Spinosa obviously has friends in high places.
Thank goodness, the Library Board wised up.
