Spinoff: When being too fat impairs your sex life... (NSFW)

My former roommate and buddy from high school finally found himself in a committed relationship earlier this year (he's in his mid-20s). A little background about my friend... he is a pretty big guy. He's about 5'10" if you count his hair and more than 300 pounds.
The girl he met is also pretty big. I've only met her in person once but if I were to guess she's about 5'6" and anywhere from 250-275 pounds if I'm being conservative.
He seems to really care for and thinks she is terrific. Again, I have limited exposure to her so I don't really know what my overall opinion of her is. However, she seems to make him pretty happy.
Anyway, he and I were hanging out for the first time in a couple of months this past weekend and he was telling me about some of their recent troubles in bed. I tried to offer some advice about switching positions to offer better stimulation and what have you, but he said that both of them are physically incapable of engaging in many these activities.
I've always just looked past his obesity because he's always been a big guy and it's his own personal choice. Still, how the hell can you accept being that overweight if it hinders your ability to engage in and enjoy sex?
He said he struggles to thrust deep enough to truly enjoy the act because his gut and her fat get in the way, both figuratively and literally.
I've unfortunately seen firsthand how an individual can reach a certain point in which having intercourse with them is more of a labor than a pleasure and is borderline pathetic how many options are thrown out due to their excessive skin.

I would envision doggy style would be the only thing that would work. You'd have to sit your fat gut on her back and spread her fat wide open. I don't see any other way unless you have a four-foot penis.

OK, here is what I got. I used to be 320. I'm now 195 (took two years, slow and steady wins the race). So, it's not impossible to drop weight. That should be option 1. 300+ pounds in unhealthy, forget about everything else.
In the meantime, I would go girl on top. I think that is their best bet.
