Spinoff Thread: What's your choice for day to day carry?

I personally use to carry a 9mm Ruger but just got a Charter Arms Bulldog .44 Special that I'm carrying now. Depending on what I'm wearing that day, I'll go back and forth between a belt and shoulder holster. What's the OT's choice in personal protection?

Eta: I don't actually know Kung Fu. I just have a small asian badass that I carry everywhere.

Only use when necessary.

I don't carry anything, but I've got a few handguns. Had a permit when I lived in LA, but rarely used it. What's funny is the attention the open carry law in Texas is getting when I came from LA where open carry is completely legal and you don't even need a permit.

What caliber? I've got an SP101 in .38 Special that I let my wife carry when she wants. Nice pstol but the grip feels a bit too small for me. She likes the grip so I've not changed it. Here's what my SP101 looks like.

Glock 19 and a fixed blade buck knife.
Cheap, made well, and functional.
I will be upgrading to the Glock 29
fairly soon. I just have to find one.

Interesting. I also sometimes carry a fixed blade knife in addition to my .44. I just got this one while in Gatlinburg over the Thanksgiving holiday....

I got it in trade... didn't like the original grip so I replaced it. Here's a pic of mine:
