I ran across this today. I know its 6 years old but damn. Do most posters pay less than $360 a yr in property taxes? That must be nice.

1st point: Homestead exemption, Louisiana property owners pay no taxes on their property. But we make up for it with other taxes, similar to how Texas has no income tax.

Louisiana has one of the highest limits, though. I think its $75k with full exemption on anything less than $70k.
