Mine was entirely due to the fact I was a kid pretending to be a grown arse man. Smart girl, super sexy, but we were total opposites. Still would have worked if I wouldn't have high fived everyone I saw for the next hour every time we had sex.
She's married with two kids now, and the size of a whale. But the feels are still there occasionally.

I had one but she was sort've not all there. It took all the King's Horses and all the King's Men to put Humpty Dumpty-ette back together again. Repeatedly. If we had any type of disagreement, misunderstanding, etc., she derailed in about a minute and a half and it took a staggering amount of mental capital to get her back on track to see that the world wasn't falling down around her and us as a result.
Wonderful person. Genuinely beautiful inside and out. But was just too much effort. I would've lost my sanity trying to provide her with some.
As an aside, sans clothing was the closest thing to heaven I've ever seen before or since. Just amazing.

I was thinking about this type of thing the other day with high school sweethearts. Those relationships have almost no chance of lasting long term because one side eventually feels that they didn't really live life and try something else. The flip side of that is you sometimes find that you clicked with that person (or had better sex with or whatever) better than anyone else down the line.

Dated a nice lady I met at college orientation. Broke it off bc I was getting back with an ex who was a year younger. Worst move ever.

The one that I thought got away literally showed up at my door step 12 years after we broke up. It was fun momentarily but then went too shite rather quickly. At least I can scratch that regret off my list.
