Southern should be proud of their community and say they are from Scontlandville, LA and not Baton Rouge.

Was at the UGA v Southern game. The Southern band is absolutely fantastic and the crowd. Was certainly appreciative. Only time I've ever watched a halftime show

Scotlandville is considered a neighborhood under the jurisdiction of the city of Baton Rouge.
I am very proud of my school and have no problem saying where it is located specifically. However, many people feel that being overly technical is tedious.
For example, How many people say they come from New York City when they technically are from the Bronx or Chinatown
