Did a brutal leg workout earlier. How bad will tomorrow and suck..?? I'll tell you..I have fell down three times because my legs simply buckled and gave out. Went to go up stairs..?? Fell down after 3 steps.

I was a bodybuilder for years...years ago lol. Been working out great for 2 months but skipped leg day last week.

Maybe I'm sadistic..but I've always enjoyed the pain lol. But I've never actually had my legs give out and actually fall down before.

This should be fun. I can't frickig walk lol

Is it your first leg day ever? Eat a banana or something.

I know what you mean about enjoying the soreness. I think it's a good reminder of the hard workout you had.

But falling down? You might have worked out TOO hard!

This is smolov:

In all seriousness don't try it at this point in your training career or you will likely injure yourself and wish you were dead.

What?

You should always be sore after leg day

Leg DAY? Ha!

In all seriousness I know a lot of you run bodybuilding routines so I am only kidding but the vast majority of you would see much better gains in size and strength running a simple 5x5

I love the 5x5 routine. Great for any beginners, and I always go back to it with some tweaks.

Try 5x5 squats with some light burnout sets at the end

Squats are an exercise that require volume in order to progress maximally. Linear progression can also be used by the vast majority of lifters for a substantial period of time before changes must be made.

But falling down?
After my first workout with my old trainer every offseason I couldn't walk. I legitimately couldn't walk. Stairs? Holy shite, absolutely not. When I'd sit on the couch or a chair my legs would give out at the SLIGHTEST bend of the knees, and I couldn't stand up without help.

For 2 weeks after it'd take damn near an hour to stretch out to where I could workout again.

I loved it though. I feel more powerful in my lifts when I can feel all of my muscles.

Tomorrow probably won't be that bad. The second and third days will be the worst.
