Flew the LaDOTD plane as minor and without a pilots license.
Discovered a pipe bomb in Tanglewood Creek, called FWFD, FBI called me, was escorted to scene, held for questioning while they evacuated a few surrounding houses, pointed out device to bomb squad, watched the guy padded like michellen man decend the bank of creek to place the remote detonation device, watched him vome sprinting back up bank in fear of a snake, and then "saved" the padded bomb squad guy from the speckled king snake he was afraid of. They remote detonated the bomb but the powder inside was wet and it was anticlimatic.
And a few things that very few people, possibly none here, have done:
Caught an 11 lb largemouth on an ultralight rod and 6 lb line.
Delivered my two boys.
Briefly held a man's aorta closed with my fingers (and his life in my hands) when the clamp came loose in a AAA stent case.

Hung out with graham Nash, David crosby, Stephen stills, Jerry Jeff Walker, Warren zevon, bill Monroe, Al gore, bill Clinton, bo diddly, clarence Carter, Charleston Heston, Kasey Kasem, Hollywood producer/directors/screenwriters/authors.. Turned down white house opportunity and knew lawyers, subjects in Watergate, Iran contra et al scandals.
Traded in Rarified Air for green acres and solitude. Or as Jerry Jeff would say, traded in microchips for buffalo chips.
I doubt I'm the only one in this August body to have had these type occasions, but pretty sure the only one to walk away from it all

Hooked up with Sophia Bush *not a fish* when stationed at Camp Lejuene, she was living in Wilmington. Me and some buddies went out and happened to run into the cast of One Tree Hill we hit it off and rest is history. Flame away...
