Drank a Budweiser on the North Pole while in the Navy. The captain brought enough beer so each crew member could have 1 on the ice. USS Charlotte surfaced through 6 ft of ice. A record when we did it, I doubt that record has been broken in 12 years.
Looking back, that captain would've been crucified by big navy had they found out we were cracking some cold ones with the boys.

That is a truly kick arse story. Reminds me of a little of Hans island, with regards to military and booze.

Came literally within a minute or two from being caught, arrested and probably deported from Scotland for burglary. One of the three of us did get nabbed. Not my proudest drunken escapade but probably the scariest thing I've ever been through.
