Someone Stole My Martin Guitar From BTR Last Night; Thanks, POS

I always carry my guitar as a carry-on, and was waiting at the carousel at BTR to grab my luggage. I decided to use the restroom immediately behind the baggage claim, and set my guitar on the ledge behind the furthest stall.

I was brining home a couple of large duffels worth of winter gear, so when I came back from the restroom, I had my hands full and didn't even think about the fact I had left it in the stall by accident.

Realized this morning what happened, and called Airport Police; no one had turned it in and they said they would "get back to me" if they were able to see anything on video.

Really bummed, plus I had 2 cartons of Dunhills from the Kuwaiti Airport I got on the cheaps. 400 luxury ciggies in the hands of some redneck who probably smokes Kools.

I just wanted to thank the low-life bum who stole my Martin; I've had it for 15 years and put a lot of great miles on it. I know a lot of posters here probably work at the airport, and I wouldn't put it past a sorry employee to have found it and not turned it in.

Nothing like kicking off a homecoming back in the Capital City like having the local criminals come out of the woodwork. That would never happen in a place like Oxford or Charlottesville.
