I drank 16 sodas and tried to fight a lamp post.

It's definitely soda.

Beer in excess. Being dehydrated constantly is one of the worst things for the human body. A night of binge drinking typically takes 4-5 days to fully recover your body from a hydration standpoint regardless of how much water you drink. I can only imagine the damage a daily drinker does to their body over time.

Soda will just make you fat, maybe diabetic at the worst but most people don't crave drinking 10-12 sodas like they do beer.

Well maybe not binge drinking. Drinking 5 or so lite beers a day versus 5 sodas such as Pepsi or coke. Which will catch up to you fastest

Regular sodas have a shitload of sugar in them. You will become a diabetic fat-arse drinking them in excess,

Light beer have less calories and carbs than regular heavies, but nothing compared to sodas. However, drinking them in excess all the time will turn you into a fat-arse drunkard.

Cokes are worse. I cut them out as an experiment and did nothing else different with diet or exercise. Lost 13 lbs over a month. Haven't picked one up since.

How many people die from drinking too much soda?

Now, what about alcoholics?

Excess beer is definitely more unhealthy. Mentally, physically.
