Great innovation.

Now my wife can back the trailer while I launch the boat.

Hopefully they will put it on the F250 Platinum.

This is how I feel about navigational systems. Learn to use a map assholes!
Cell phones!?!? Make plans with folks, then be on time. No need to make changes later. It is called being dependable.

Affordability isn't the issue. I'm interested to see how this whole aluminum body thing works out. Most body shops don't have people who work with aluminum. I think for a while at least it may end up being a parts exchange for any body damage. That can be very expensive.

If you need anything other than a work truck, you must be a metrosexual.

Shouldn't matter if you have insurance

So I take it you can back a truck up to any trailer all by yourself without ever getting out of truck. First time? Coupler right over ball? Dam, you good!!

tight or not, if your wearing jeans at all, you probably don't need a truck pussy. Go get a honda or some European shite.
Better be wearing coveralls in a truck, or your a fig.

From what I've seen this is not what the technology does, but if it does this I retract what I previously said.

This is true to a point but either you as the F-150 owner will pay more in insurance costs or everyone will pick up the added costs of fixing your aluminum body.

I'm with you Shift. Should be able to do that if you are going to pull a trailer.

I got stuck 5 min waiting for someone to use the auto parallel park one day.

[quote]. Now my wife can back the trailer while I launch the boat.

My wife has always done this and backs it to load as well as pulls it. She also takes the boat by herself or with girlfriends to fish and last Sun. Through Tues. caught almost three limits of trout. The only thing she can't do is clean the fish.

Now she looks over her shoulder to back. I use the mirrors.

What's up lurkr? I deserve all of this and I've enjoyed it actually. Some clever responses sprinkled in there. I meant to post on the OB, but it's all good.

I can most times. If they are my trailers that I dropped myself then they are set at the right height for my truck, I use my mirrors to center it and when the hitch taps the license plate I pull forward 6" and almost never have to return to the truck.

But I've been doing it for 40 years.
