Depends on what you want to do. I have a relative who was in finance before he went into (federal) law enforcement. He just felt like he made more of a difference. "Oh, we saved 30 cents on the million today, how fulfilling." He worked for several different groups and he told me there was some shite that happens. But he said one of his career highlights was when a man he had arrested was sitting at a booths behind him and the man walked up to him and thanked him for treating him like a real person when he was arrested.

I don't have much experience with federal law enforcement, all I know is that they're a different animal. A lot of similar stuff happens, though.

Except it's not. It is easier to target minorities and lower class individuals because chances are they will not have the means to fight the charges, they will usually be assigned a shitty public defender, and usually will agree to pleas in their worst interest.
That equals arrests and convictions which is important to cops and district attorneys.
To be fair, if you need to pad your stats, you are not going to target the million dollar neighborhoods now are you?

There was one guy who did tell me they didn't arrest a white person till he had been working for 10 years and that was in Utah.

Walk in tomorrow and ask them what they would do if they got home and their house was robbed and their parents were missing.

Never ever talk or volunteer any information to a police office. ALWAYS ask to speak to your attorney first even if you are innocent.

I really don't think you know how those sorts of companies operate. I've worked for two contracted firms (in a different field) that would go in knowing they aren't going to get their contracts renewed. So they aim to squeeze every last penny they can from the current contract. Working for them can be fine but they'll frick over their employees the first chance you get. You don't get quality people into positions with that cut throat method.

A very wise and wealthy man once told me to remember that cops are not my friend. He told me that when I encounter a cop, do not give any more information to them than is necessary and required in order to get him to move on.

Tell them to call the local crackhead the next time the the thugs show up to rape and kill.
As a man, I've often thought about the phrase 'rape-murder'. In many cases, the husband is home and either gets to watch before he is murdered or he is killed outright. And his wife and kids get all of the remaining fun while looking at his body. There really can't be anything worse for me to imagine happening to me and my family. Imagine that. I mean...really imagine that.
Nope. Nope. Nope. I'll take my guns and the cops ANYfrickING DAY!
This isn't PC bullshite. This is pure idiocy.
