So I'm grading exams and this student writes this on a section of the exam....

"I missed the day you went over this in class"
Am I suppose to care?!?!
Does this kid think I just won't grade this section of their exam?!?!
The section I'm referring to is a 6 question section on Factor by grouping and it's a senior level high school math class.

And you should tell them they should have thought to ask "What did I miss on the day I was out?" when they returned. It's part of learning how to be an adult. When I miss a day at work, one of the first things I do is talk with team members on if there was anything important that I missed.
