So I'll be in NOLA on a Monday without any plans...

The wife (no pics) and I will have the day to ourselves. She was planning on doing some touristy stuff we had never done before like the Mint and the Cabildo but they're closed on Mondays.
Just looking for some different ideas on things to do other than Rick's, Visions, etc.

It's the WWII museum, but yea that would be a solid choice

We wanted to wait for my Dad to take him down there one day on an open date to be quite honest. Otherwise it would be THE list.

Try not to get shot, mugged, car jacked or robbed while eating a meal. Just surviving a day in new Orleans will be a hell of an activity. Someone should start marketing a survival day in new Orleans similar to a warrior dash/ mud race.

The zoo is nice or the big fish tank.
I have to go there myself in the morning.

The aquarium might might be a nice choice, especially since it's hot outside this time of year.

Yea that's a wise choice. There are still a bunch of other worthwhile museums given your interest in the subject matter, not to mention various historical monuments, cool old cemeteries, etc. You may want to just hop from restaurants and bars and grab some cocktails. The zoo's nice but the heat will suck.

Eat at Jacques-Imo's on Oak St. It's one of my top 5 restaurants worldwide.

You have a wife but one of your interests on your profile includes "women". Do you even Ashley Madison bro?

Good lord.
It's not even top 25 on a real restaurant list for N.O..
I get that it has a place for that funky feeling place that's off the beaten path, but it's not this crazy good place.

Met my wife after I set TD up. Sorry I never updated it since then. Had better things to do.

Drive by Lee Circle and Jeff Davis monuments and take some clicks before that history is history.
