So, How Long After The Jihadists Get Nukes Until They Nuke Us?

I'm guessing within 5 years. The main problem is delivery, but a small vessel with such a device, even a low tech dirty bomb, would be feasible as a delivery vehicle.
The coastal cities are most at risk in my opinion.
What will/can we do about it if they are actually successful with such a plan?

It'll definitely be a coastal target via a marine delivery IMO.
But I still don't think it'll happen anytime soon. If they did this, they know they would be wiped from the face of the earth in no time.

The leaders most certainly value their lives. They use dumb, impressionable pawns to deliver suicide bombs. What do you think the leaders hide for years in miserable conditions just to survive?

If they can manage to float in a nuke or dirty bomb, why haven't they floated in a fertilizer bomb yet, similar to the OKC bombing but by boat? Put something like that near manhattan and you could do some damage. I think it's tougher than you think.

Maybe that was a loose connection I made. The planning of 9/11 was mainly in Germany. The funding was clearly from Middle eastern states.

I assume our intelligence community would know who was responsible for the bomb, much like they knew who was responsible for 9/11.
And a nuke would be 100x worse than 9/11. It would unite our entire country behind all-out-war.
