so "Black" Friday really is historically racist?

Watching morning show saying that name came from Philly cops in the 1960s based on the influx of black shoppers hitting the deals after Thanksgiving.

Well ain't that something. ....

The day's name originated in Philadelphia, where it originally was used to describe the heavy and disruptive pedestrian and vehicle traffic which would occur on the day after Thanksgiving. Use of the term started before 1961 and began to see broader use outside Philadelphia around 1975. Later an alternative explanation began to be offered: that "Black Friday" indicates the point at which retailers begin to turn a profit, or are "in the black".

i remember last year a black city council member here in Dallas prostested and walked out of a meeting because another member said something about a black hole referring to the citys debt.

he said it was racist. I f'ing hate when they do that shite. not everythings about race you idiots. Black is a color and has an alternate meaning.

what would happen if white people protested when people said the words White House, White lie, white lighting, give me a break

Was it John Wiley Price? That POS was re-elected in a landslide and he is under about 200 federal indictments.

sounds like another word needs to be used so as not to confuse the word "black" with "blacks"...something so that's there's misunderstanding
