In Washington DC, Greenpeace fringe attention whores unfurl a banner with "RESIST" on it.
"Surrender Dorothy" would have been better.
They should get them down off the crane the quickest way possible.....

I don't understand why acting like an overgrown spoiled brat is considered protesting. If you want to make a difference get an education and funding. That way you could actually make a legit attempt at making a change.

As someone who didn't vote for Trump; and takes exception to the social policies of the Republicans in general, this quote sums up my view of both parties. I don't understand how we as a populace and society have become so indoctrinated that we let fear control us. You may not know anyone this extreme, but I bet everyone on here knows someone on both sides who let fear control their political leanings.
The world is not a bad place, it's a good place filled with good people. The problem is that we let people lead not by inspiring us to follow, but rather telling us how bad it will be if we don't.

Exactly. What fight are they trying to fight anyway? BLM, the snowflakes are all fighting the wrong fight. If these people would shift their energy and cause into a positive direction then maybe a change of significance can be made.

They need to get a job and make their lives productive instead of just looking for their 15 minutes and wanting to be attention whores.

In greenpeace's defense they have been doing this since the 1970s and have caused some policy reversals. This isn't some new snowflake thing, it's an old snowflake thing.

I really can't imagine political discourse ever being worse than it is now. My father-in-law said it wasn't this bad during Vietnam. He's a retired major in the USAF, but he can often times be full of shite I've come to realize.
