Snapchat vs Instagram - BATTLE ROYALE

I searched and didn't see anything....

so apparently Instagram now has a setting/feature that allows you to tell you story throughout the day in pics/video clips same as what the snapchat concept is? Hmm..interesting
Zuckerburg bought Instagram when instagram was becoming huge, I guess he couldn't buy SnapChat so he chose to copy them? Interesting....
How is everyone else doing with this transition? Like or dislike that Instagram is trying to be a 1 stop shop instead of having more social media areas to cover

agree...young adults who grew up in the age where FB was being created and myspace it was "cool" and "fun"...but now it is diluted with 40+ moms and grandmas etc of that nature posting pics constantly liking and sharing stupid shite...yes its almost like a disease

Anybody else find Snapchat really confusing? I don't fully understand how to use it. IG is so much simpler.

I actually use snapchat the most of all social media....facebook is still king, but instagram made some changes that just made it complicated...I'm not crazy about it but still have it.

Team Snapchat all the way. Instagram is annoying and the stories feature sucks. Not even up to date with the filters like snapchat. You cant come out with a new feature copying another social media outlet and the said new feature be worse. Also the nekkidness on snapchat is awesome..not sure you will be able to do that on instagram.

Snapchat and IG gave me a chance to start over, social media wise. I can follow/unfollow based on my interests right now vs the retarded interests of my early-mid 20's.

There's no way this dethrones snapchat. Snapchat still has the features like temporary messaging that is what made it attractive in the first place. Also based upon "stories" alone, I think their filter game will keep them above this Instagram clone. Some very causal users may just not snapchat anymore but snapchat still has "private messaging" like a text; not everything is public and that value there to send pics / life fun stories in that medium will prevail.
