Snake!!!!!!!!! On my gosh darn door!!!!!

We have a small window on the top of my front door. Just below it is a small nail/hook that is used to hang decorations during the holidays. I was about to bring our dogs outside when I noticed a snake on my door, in front of my window. It was actually balancing on the nail/hook. I opened and slammed the door. Then as it fell, I charged outside to kill it. It slithered away...
What kind of snake would climb up a wall and swing on a nail/fall out of a tree, slide down a flat wall, and swing on a nail? Supersnake?

don't know, but last week I had one of those frickers as well...I opened the door and a damn snake fell from above and landed at my feet....
if it would have landed on me, I probably would have had a fricking heart attack right there...

A few years ago I was at a motel in Houston when I opened a door and a snake fell on me. Apparently, it had been crawling on the top of the door (how'd it get there?).
Didn't faze me at all as I am one badass motherfricker
I admit it wasn't a very big snake, but still, it was a snake. Being a friend to all creatures great and small, I let it go on its way. I like to think it bit somebody later.

I never understand people that fly off and say this just because it's a snake. The majority of the time snakes are harmless and they keep your rat infestations down. And in the case for King Snakes, they actually kill and eat the venomous ones.

That fall by the feet may have done me in with the heart attack.
