I'd prefer suffocation to, say, being torn apart by tigers or the intense, long and painful death via box jellyfish.

ETA: or, you know, burning alive.

I'll never ever understand how it's legal to have pet snakes....this will cost Florida billions to handle long term. And guess what happens when the glades stop having enough food to support them!

I mean, you have this refuge to protect it, then you let a species in there that eradicate all life there.....brilliant

fricking morons

Normally you would have loved inhaling that big sausage though. Especially covered with all your special sauces

You should probably avoid Florida as well.

Boas are about Number 99 on the list of reasons not visit Flo-Rida.

This being said I'll probably still be in Destin come June.

The alligators and crocs are still at the top of the food chain.

It wasn't voluntary by the government. Reptile enthusiasts who couldn't or wouldn't handle their pets let them go.

The thing they didn't see coming was that Burmese and African Rock pythons would be able to interbreed and create a hybrid that has all the size of the Burmese and all of the aggressiveness of the AR.

If those two species weren't sexually compatible, they wouldn't be having this problem.

My point was, how could our government EVER let them come here from other countries in the first place. And even with this issue, they are still allowed.
