What do you guys put in your smoothies? I recently got a ninja blender and I've made smoothies that have a green apple, orange, strawberries, blackberries, pineapple, spinach, and carrots. Any suggestions you guys may have? Since I've been drinking them I've felt a little better. Any good immune boosting recipes you guys may have?

I do vanilla whey protein with and skim milk
with (you can add non-fay Greek yogurt):

Banana and frozen whole strawberries.

Or

Peanut butter with old fashioned oats, NOT instant oatmeal.

Peanut butter/banana is good also.

Non-fat Greek yogurt, blueberries, strawberries, whey. Berries (especially blueberries) are very good for you and loaded with antioxidants and immune boosters.

OK, this sounds good. How much peanut butter to yogurt ration? And equal amounts blueberry and banana? Can the banana be fresh, not frozen?

Is it really good?

First, I'm just gonna be that guy and highly, highly recommend a Vitamix (even refurbished ones).

As for the smoothies:

- After a workout: Water, Quest protein powder, Almond/Peanut butter, Ice
- Cleansing/Nutrient: Water, Kale, ginger, mango/peach/pineapple, lemon juice, chia/flax, ice

No posts saying "Wrong board, a-hole." The OT must have lost it's mojo.

Also, kale is one of the best things that you can eat. Blend kale, pineapple, non-fat Greek yogurt, skim milk. I usually do not care for pineapple in smoothies because I find it to be too sweet but when it is combined with the dark leafy kale the two work well together. The taste is similar to a tart Granny Smith apple.

It's too expensive. Your mom has the market cornered on guzzling semen.

Not for post workout, but it's hard to beat classic strawberry banana. How I do it:

1 cup almond milk
1 frozen banana
4 or 5 frozen strawberries
2 scoops vanilla casein protein
3 or 4 ice cubes and a little bit of water

Gets you 50 grams of protein and keeps you full for a few hours

Oh and whoever said get the Vitamix is right. I've had mine 15 years and still going strong. Also thumbs up on the Green Superfood. I just wash that down with water in the morning but you could definitely throw it in a smoothie
