On an interesting note, that class's SAT and ACT scores were the highest ever--so now the administration are trying to figure out the reasons for the disparity between the lowest # of NMSF in years and the highest scoring tests ever!

I really don't have a dog in this fight since I never lived in either of those places, but what percentage of students in Slidell and West St. Tammany are National Merit Semifinalists? That would be more telling than raw numbers.

Ahhhh yes. Got it. I remember running into him at the wine market in slidell when he was looking to go to OCS or something like that.
