Since when did kids become an option?

I'm a foster parent and I receive kids that parents don't want, or they choose drugs over their child. I hear a lot of other stories of parents giving their kids to their parents, or grandparents. And of course, other adults bail out these deadbeats. Used to, kids were #1 priority to their parents, and now these young kids want to live their party lifestyles and dump their kids off on others. What is wrong with this country? I have a family member that falls in this category too, so I'm sure it happens to most family trees.
As for me, I can't have kids and tried for 7 years to have children in every way we could. And then we have idiots who pop them out and don't want them. So sad.
Since when are kids not more important than the parents that pop them out? Kids don't matter, it seems like

I mean there are more formalized systems that help these kids, but I would disagree that any more kids are being put out now than previously.

what pisses me off, is that there are a shite load of American kids that can be adopted, and we have people adopting Asians, Africans, and Central Americans, because Hollywood dildos want u to think its cool.

In the olden days you didn't have all this teen pregnancy. We started seeing teen pregnancy rise when teenage girls stopped taking 6 month or longer vacations. Maybe if we get back to that we can lower teen pregnancy.

Teen pregnancy is actually declining.
Also we had plenty of teen pregnancy, they were just married off at the time in earlier decades.
