Silky Slim' Reed escorted from meeting as Metro Council debates ride-along with police

Arthur "Silky Slim" Reed also took to the microphone, saying the city shouldn't do anything to make heroes of the city's police after the Sterling shooting.
Mayor Pro Tem Scott Wilson asked the sergeant at arms to remove Reed for speaking off topic.
"You're gonna get your day!" Reed yelled, pointing at Wilson as he was led out.LINK

I think he is an attention seeking a-hole. That said, if he gets the point across that becoming involved in the process of government is the way to change what you see is wrong then he will have done something for his community.

Lets talk about this ride along program and how we can get premium members to ride along with BR and help them stomp thugs. That would be quality television IMO.

This will be good, both for LEOs and for the community. The LEOs will learn to calm down and hopefully stop BS pullovers just to fish. And the community will see how difficult others in the community make it for LEOs.
