Court records show she shared a post office box with a Thomas Jackson, whose 1986 death was not discovered until last year. She collected more than $200,000 in illegal benefits.

A New Orleans woman admitted Thursday (April 21) that she was guilty of forging the signature of her grandmother on social security checks for more than 16 years after her grandmother's death, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.
Court documents filed Thursday in the Eastern District of Louisiana alleged that 56-year-old Myrna Shiloh knowingly embezzled the Social Security Administration out of more than $150,100. Shiloh admitted to committing the theft of public money from Feb. 3, 1999 to March 2, 2015, U.S. Attorney Kenneth Polite said.
