Which city would be happier and is better suited to be a part of Texas: Shreveport or Lake Charles?

Shreveport, and i don't even mean that as a bad thing
LC still has a lot of Cajun culture and shite. NLA doesn't have that cultural tie in any proportionate rate so it's much easier to be part of another state's culture

Well Texas is a better state than LA and Shreveport is a better city than Lake Charles. Shreveport by a mile.

Shreveport is already considered Texas by anyone south of I10.
All you need to know is on Sunday Shreveport watches Cowboys games, not Saints games.

I guess people in TX consider Beaumont part of LA and we consider Lake Charles part of Texas. Brilliant.

Lake Charles IMO is pretty similar to SE Texas. IMO it is a nicer, faster growing version of Beaumont.
Shreveport is a traditional southern city. It's more like McComb or Jackson.
