That place down by the river. Remember that place? It was pretty cool.

Lived there a year back around 2000. Pregame at Superior then hit Club Havana. It was like fishing with dynamite.

Remember the Cedar Grove riot? Good times.

Although it was in bossier, a fond memory I have from my childhood is going to the Teddy Bear Sandwich Den.

Madison Square Garden is being revived with Ki Mexio there now

Fun fact: Maxwell's Market still sells Leon's BBQ sauce. It's expensive as hell but worth it.

Ki Mexico is pretty good, but I don't know if that area will ever be "rivived". It's a shame, that would be a great location for a couple good places to eat and a bar.
As far as memory lane, I miss Don's on E. Kings and Highland. RIP $.25/oysters on Thursday nights.

with Ki Mexico and Marilynns there and succeeding, I can see it being revived in 5-8 years
its an awesome location sitting between Broadmoor and South Highlands
I know that little ghetto is right there though...

Loved me some spagetti and meatballs when i was little. The old lady waitresses would put the bib on.

Here's a free idea: Lease up the old El Chico's and turn it into a Bulldog. Patio is already there and parking is plentiful.
