Should you smile in your mugshot photo?

The Tiger photo will be with us forever. Is it better to smile in the picture so that you don't look like a goon or would that cause problems in court later? Some politicians have gone the smiling route.

He was arrested at 3 am for suspicion of DUI.

On a side note, I would take his punishment for him for 10% of his net worth.

Friends at the news station told me that if they don't have a mug shot from the police they will use the photo from your drivers license.

That's why you'll see smiling "mugshots" of people after a crime. It's probably their license photo from months or years before. And that's why the DMV advises not to smile in your DL photo.
