Should towels be used once for showers?

Or should we reuse them? My wife and my in-laws believe we should hang them up and reuse them. And I just went to a hilton resort in miami, and they act like we should use towels more than once to save water. I hear it's the new thing to do.

I'm clean when I get out of the shower; therefore I use them for a few days. If you don't know how to shower then I would understand using them only once.

I use mine more than once. Don't really know how many times because some random morning it'll be gone and I'll grab another.

I tend to be clean when I get out of the shower, so yeah, I'll hang a wet towel and reuse it.

At home I'll use it twice on occasion because I'm lazy sometimes.
But at a hotel? frick them and their "save the planet propaganda to cover for them wanting to save a buck" BS. I'll use 5 towels a day if I feel like it.

The wife and I share towels. Cuts down on laundry. It's not like I'm dirtying the towel when I get out the shower.

I like to use my towel at least twice. However, after one use my wife will come behind me and throw it in the laundry.
