so they had no idea the amount of vandalism that went on. Once we gave our opinion they had to see it for themselves so they flew in.

So how bad is it on the inside?

For the people saying Laser Tag and Go Cart tracks... those already exist in BR not far from Tinseltown.

There was a big drug bust there a few weeks ago. I live in those apartments right next to them and had front row balcony seats of the whole thing

And both are really good facilities.

Rocks tar racing has a fun track and the laser tag place off of Sherwood is huge.

They don't have as much fun stuff for young adults. I wish we had go-carts, putt-putt and stuff like we did back in the day. Everytime I go on vacation I spend tons riding go-carts and playing mini golf. I would love to have an indoor play park for people 16 and up.

Alamo Draft House concept theater. Dave and Busters are a great idea but they can turn trashy quickly in areas with certain demographics.

Or an upscale bar with strict dress codes - hourly pay for pool tables, tabletop shuffleboard, dartboards with league and tournament play.

You have to price it high and enforce a strict dress code or it will go to shite. Offer a club membership for certain colleges to make it affordable while still controlling clientele.

Not a racist - I hate white trash as much as black trash.

Yea, being a former movie theater, I have a hard time thinking of many adaptive reuses.

You're a former movie theater?

Good one. For a movie theater, he has a tenuous grasp of the English language.

I would go if it were converted into an indoor paintball arena. Selling paintballs, guns, co2 etc in the lobby, have arcades.

re: Should Tinseltown be demolished?
I worked at a place on Jefferson near Ochsner hospital in the 90's that did that in an old bowling alley. They made cash hand over fist. It was awesome.

It would do very well here in B.R. with all the thuggin' it and lovein' its.
