It sure ruins the prospect of fresh air anytime smokers are around, they mesh things up for everyone else.

OP should walk a few minutes down the beach, smokers are too lazy to walk a bit.

No, but smokers need to stop burying their cigarette butts in the sand. Nothing like building a sand castle with smoked Marlboro Lights.

One eating red meat and/or bacon has no affect on others around.

Doubtful that it happens but fines for throwing butts in the sand should be large and heavily enforced.

I was at Panama City Beach over memorial weekend. I could not help to notice the disgusting smell of cigarette smoke from other people lounging on the beach. It really does stink and nobody wants to smell it or want their kids around it. If you have to smoke move to a different area on the beach where other people are not lounging. Ok, rant over.

1. If you are outside it does not stink that bad and you are more at danger of skin cancer from the sun than lung cancer from 2nd hand smoke.
2. Quit being a b*tch!
3. Don't go to a trashy beach
4. Quit being a pussy
5. Smoking bans are the most unamerican thing since prohibition (and that turned out great).
6. Change your tampon and stop being a sissy

I was waiting for a shitty comparison like this.

When people eat bacon or red meat do they also force the people around them to eat it as well? Herp Derp.

It's not eating red meat and bacon that make your premiums increase. It's eating red meat and bacon and not engaging in exercise that is making your premiums increase.

It is a beach. You are not in a small room. You are outside.

I agree that smoking is absolutely disgusting, but smoking outside, on public grounds, should not be banned.

This shouldn't even be a debate.

Your little Johnny isn't going to develop emphysema from an occasional whiff of cigarette smoke.

You're trying to use feigned concern over your health as a way to ban trashiness. Trashiness isn't going anywhere, and definitely not in PCB, or the Gulf Coast for that matter

Sorry, but the beach should be the ultimate place for freedom. Aside from an actual crime and maybe bringing glass bottles in the beach, everything else should fly. It's Manifest Destiny. Sorry if you hate freedom, but fricking move your chair away from the smokers if you have that big of a problem with it. I go to the beach and have never had a problem with them.

But what about the secondhand meat and bacon carcinogen-laced grill smoke that I shouldn't have to inhale? I shouldn't have to be exposed!
