Should I say something to my beta friend?

Typical situation where me mate Matthew is beta as hell with his GF and dotes on her constantly. She doesn't come close to returning his levels of affection.
Lots of qualitative real life examples, but best concrete example is that his Facebook profile pic is of him and her together while HER profile pic is just of herself. WTF? How can any bro in America not realize how lame that is? She has tons of beta orbiters "liking" and commenting on everything she posts. I can't help but think that the fact she's holding out on the "couple" profile pic is sending the wrong message to her white knights and orbiters.
Kid is 32 or 33 and like most solid bros he's dating down 6 or 7 years (not quite the 9 year gap that I've achieved, but still impressive). If you're swaggy enough to pull off the hot younger GF than how can you be so basic in your other skills? That's what throws me. I feel like it's worth having a talk with him. thoughts?
