My connecting flight to LC out of Dallas takes off at 8:35 PM. Is it worth fighting or do I just stay an extra day?

How bad is it expected to get?

Play it by ear. May be able to sneak out tonight. There are a ton of airport hotels near DFW. Just have on on standby.

I bet you'll be able to make it in tonight. Storm isn't moving fast and the majority of the weather is displaced to it's east.

I'd rather stay where I am than fight the cluster of getting a hotel if a storms shuts down DFW. Dealt with that last August and it's not fun.

That's what I was asking. I haven't paid it much attention until this morning.

The rain is supposed to come in after noon tomorrow in the Lake Charles area. High winds are supposed to start tonight.

Don't worry about it, I'll pick you up. I'm hauling crates of live chickens and you can squeeze into the back of the pick up truck with them. Doreen will be with me riding shotgun.

Don't the streets there tend to flood when too many people sweat at the same time?
