Anyone ever watch the show "Gigolos" on Showtime? They make a good argument about the service they provide. The women who use their service, on the show, usually has an understandable story behind the reason they decide to hire a Gigolo.

Of course there are counties in Nevada in which it is legal, but why hasn't then been adopted by other states? Seriously, if Louisiana considered making this legal, would anyone oppose of it? If so, why?

I'm totally fine with it being legal, but I can't imagine paying a man for sex.

ETA: or "companionship"

It is legal. Spending time with someone for money is fine. You just can't have sex for money.

Just another way of keeping the white man down.

Prostitution should be legal. It's absurd that we allowed our government to take away such a basic freedom to begin with.

I prefer things just the way they are, it'd be just one more thing that I'd get taxed on.

There are some nasty hookers in Louisiana that don't have any business being around a penis

Of all the shite that goes on in the world today, I can't believe this is still a debate.

You don't have to think whores are a great thing (I personally do) to not see how unjustifiable it is to make whoring a crime.

People frick under all kinds of circumstances for any number of reasons and with any number of motivations. Arbitrarily outlawing the most honest act of random sex imaginable is silly.

Seriously, for a state like Louisiana, that has a debt crisis, it would be another avenue to generate taxes. Its a service that is provided, but its illegal which is what probably keeps a lot of people from pursuing it. Might as well let people pay for sex if they want and it can benefit the state.

Legalize, regulate, and profit from it. Take some of that money to fight human trafficking and improve sexual education.

Bible belters in North LA would never allow it to happen.

I think if we legalized, the quality of our whores would be greatly improved.
