This has been going on for quit some time. Where are you? I know that area well. I would be happy to give directions.
If you can exit and go east, you will find highway 441. Head north on 441 and it will take you to Gainesville. Then go west on Williston road and it puts you back on I75.

I-75N is shutdown and will be shutdown for an undetermined amount of time.
All traffic is being diverted onto 318 to 441.

The next exit south of you is SR 326. It too will take you to 441.
441 runs parallel to I 75 for quite a while. If you make it to 441 I suggest taking it all the way to Gainesville and then going back to I 75. If you take the next raid above 318, you go through Micanopy. Traffic will suck if you go that way.
Micanopy is where they filmed the movie Doc Hollywood. It's a cool little town.

If you can turn around, you might want to go down to SR40 in Ocala. Head west to Williston where yon take SR 26 to Gainesville. It's an easy drive what will have a lot less traffic than the 441 route that most will take.

Nope. Before I realized what had happened, I was past all of the places to make a u-turn.
I'm going to be forced off at 318, but I'm turning west towards Willston where I'll take 27N and avoid everyone from I75 heading north thru 441.

Good plan. I just checked the Alachua Sheriffs Office FB and they say it is a manhunt. They may not let let you head that direction. If you can head toward Willistonbit will be a lot less traveled.
