They only get paid if they win. That's why Dusty Rhodes (legendary announcer), would always say that the winner is "headed to the pay window." Why would Nash lose on purpose and not get paid?

I've never understood why people talk about wrestling like it's a legitimate competition and it wasn't all scripted. People say the Undertaker going 21-0 in WrestleMania is a huge record. Uh, It happened because Vince McMahon and crew scripted him to win every match. It's not like they sent them out every year and said may the best man win.
I do admit that wrestling used to be fun to watch back in the attitude era. It was a man's version of a soap opera.
