I was leaving the neighborhood and turning onto Coursey at a light (where the medians are raised) and the school bus stopped in the middle of the intersection to pick up some kids from a nearby complex.
But they stopped diagonally, blocking the entire intersection and beneath the light changing green to red while the kids took their time.
Now I get that we want to be safe for kids and blah blah, but why wouldn't they go into the parking lot that was RIGHT FRICKING THERE to load the kids instead of hosing up an entire light cycle?

Raised or not you don't stop. Only if it is 4 lanes with no median at all do all lanes stop.

They need to address the driving habits of these bus drivers. All the buses I see flat out haul arse every day.

Perhaps children from both sides of Coursey were being picked up and the bus driver was blocking the entire street for that reason????
