I hear of people sailing all the time.

Watch Captain Ron. Brilliant documentary on the subject.

I'm planning on chartering a boat with at least a captain to sail it. I would like to learn sailing basics while on trip as well.

How long did you go for AMS? What was approximate cost? Where did you go?

I would figure on at least two people if you want your honeymoon to be anything like a honeymoon.

How big of a boat are you looking at? How many cabins?

How difficult is it to sail yourself? I have been on the water a ton and have my own boats, I just have not sailed. I assume you use a motor to go in and out of port and the sail when you are in open water. This is great info!!

A 15 year old girl made it most of the way around the world a few years ago. How hard can it be?

June 13th 8 of us are taking a boating trip in the BVIs.

This will be our vessel

47 Foot Power Cat. We are doing it ourselves with no captain or crew so we had to go Powerboat not sailboat.

We have a 8 day voyage planned that entails everything from Willys Ts, Coopers Island, The Baths, Anegada, Jost Van Dyke and some others.

Super excited 4 years ago we stayed on a villa on Virgin Gorda for 2 weeks and spent some time on a sail boat and decided our next trip would be a Boating trip.

I always wonder what the captain does while you and mrs are consumating the marriage. Sailboats are pretty tight quarters so is it assumed he gets a ride when you're done?

I would highly not recommend going without a captain.

Sailing is easy enough, but you need to be extremely comfortable with your sailing skills once you get into true open water.

Take it from someone who's sailed their entire life, you don't want your first experience to be in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico.
