Father is stabbed to death in front of 4 year old son after asking teenagers to turn music down inside of target store.

Honestly, I feel the guy would have been alive if he simply covered his son's ears and used it as a teaching point to be respectful of others in regards to music and language when the child grows up.

I remember the story of the guy who shot the teenagers at the gas station due to loud music and how the outrage was "mind your own business". Now this guy was being a "hero to his son" in basically the same situation.

Moral of the story, you never know what someone has going on in the minds or hearts, and it's best to not start any confrontation over something so meaningless

You seem to be assigning the responsibility and guilt for this to the wrong party(s).

It seems the moral of the story should be don't be a worthless frick that would stab someone. Of course, prison is second home to worthless fricks.

Or, if the kids hadn't been punk thugs and simply turned the music down.

He was being a father, not a hero. He shouldn't be fearful of his life over a volume request.

Not sure what similarities you see. The outrage in the Florida story was some old white dude casually killed some teens over music and then headed home to eat his pizza as if nothing had happened.

how about we raise our kids to be respectable adults, rather than maniacs who murder folks for asking them to be respectable adults

This is the logical equivalent to "don't want to be raped, then don't wear sexy clothes" and "drive a sports car, then expect it to be stolen".

While you may believe it's sage advise it is basically assigning some of the blame for a crime onto people who are doing no wrong. Even if it's just 1% responsibility.

lol the moral of the story about a father getting stabbed is to avoid confrontation? How about not being a piece of shite and not stabbing someone over the volume of music? Sometimes I can't tell if you are purposely falling into this race baiting troll poster or a genuine idiot

We need to bring back public executions. If it's caught on film, no trial either.

When I had a very close and important family member suddenly pass, his 70+ year old mother was in the er waiting room with the rest of our arriving family and were dealing with the news.

Across the hall, some dude and his chick were blasting rap music on their phone. I walked in his room and calmly asked him to turn it off. He did, and had he not or had he come back with a smartass response, I was fully prepared to take his shite away from him and break it over his skull. I really didn't give a frick about consequences in those moments.

Using this event to troll is poor form, imo.

First, he wasn't being a hero. He was simply asking people to act like human beings and be respectful of others.

Second, I'm not sure what thought process could have possibly gone through your mind to put together your take on the situation.

Got to be honest. I assumed the guy that was stabbed to death was white.
