Went to the best ortho here for knees as I'm told today ... got a cortisone shot and he told me to resume all activity tomorrow (running and biking).
Only drawback was he was SO busy that I didn't have time to ask what happens if I continue running and don't fix it (follow up apt in 3 weeks to re-eval ... would like to at least have info to consider). He said the cortisone would make it feel better but obviously not fix it. It's a vertical radial tear; lateral side.
I've been through a course of PT (good one in my area also) and have contacted him with no return call yet.
So any knowledgeable PTs, orthos, whatever who can tell me potential risks? It's "uncomfortable" when I run to the point that I wonder "should I stop now" but not the the point that I NEED to stop. Was planning on training for a half BUT it scares me.
Thanks ... just want to be informed and Doctor was super nice but super packed schedule today ...
