Meh. Robert Phillips is a fine name, but I would have changed it, too, if I were in "the rap game".
And how is that racist? That's the man's stage name.
Knicca. Maybe he was a Knicks fan?
Got it - if you pronounce it just right - got it.
Sorry about that, LG - what do you think is better penance, should I watch: A Soldier's Story, The Color Purple, or Glory?

True story - we used to use Glory to teach officer candidates about training management. Great film. Underrated, IMHO.
ETA: But A Soldier's Story is probably my favorite of those 3 -
The nicest white guy in the film has this line:
Well - I kind of have to take that back - that was the regimental commander, COL Nivens, who was blocking Howard Rollins' (Davenport) investigation. The white captain (Dennis Lipscomb's character), the company commander, he was alright.

Howard Rollins, Jr., Adolph Caesar, with very early performances by David Alan Grier (in a rare non-comedy role, although he does minstrel it up a little bit), Denzel, and Robert Townshend - along with a mesmerizing performance by the late, great Larry Riley.

Girl I went to HS with lost her mother that way. Her parents went out to eat, her mom was feeling fine, and then gone, just like that.
