A syllable.
One through six are all a single syllable. Seven has two, so the first line makes sense since you can't do it with a single syllable
The gap between v and x is double-u, again more than one syllable.
The sentences are all made of words with one syllable, staying with the "you can't do it with just one" deal until "between" fricks it all up because it's two syllables, making that third line a lie.
Also, you can't say "syllable" with just one syllable, making the fourth line make sense.
